An art embracing the mind, body and spirit, tai chi is one of the most effective exercises for health of mind and body. Tai chi is an easy learning experience and delivers healthy benefits for participants. For many, it continues as a lifetime journey.|
The ultimate purpose of tai chi is to cultivate life energy within us to flow smoothly and powerfully throughout the body. We have two sessions of tai chi running at our community centre on Mondays and Tuesdays from 11.00am to 12.00pm. The sessions are carried out by external instructors.
This event is open for non-residents too.
Chair yoga is a great way for older adults to experience the wonderful health benefits of yoga. Staying seated means that even frail seniors or those who aren’t flexible can safely do the exercises. Yoga is an excellent way for older adults to loosen and stretch painful muscles, reduce stress, and improve circulation.|
It also reduces anxiety, helps lower blood pressure, protects joints, and builds strength and balance.
We have chair yoga sessions running every Thursdays at 9.00am.
