Indoor bowls is a perfect game for recreational purposes. We have indoor bowls running every Wednesdays and Fridays at 8.30am which provides an opportunity for residents to practice and polish their skills. It is a social game that offers a way to meet new people and make friends. And, like many sports, it is healthy to improve motor and visual skills as well as increase heart rate for better heart health. Seniors can meet others regularly for a game which helps in their social life and mental wellbeing. |
Cards

Card games can improve memory and help with age-related ailments such as dementia. Stimulating the brain via numbers, letters, colors etc. enhances brain function. Physical benefits include improvement in fine and gross motor skills, reflexes, and hand-eye coordination. We have residents gathering together twice a week to play cards, Mondays and Tuesdays at 1.00pm. |
Bingo

Researchers have found that playing bingo has multiple health benefits for the elderly. It takes concentration, which improves listening and short term memory skills and it promotes socialisation, which is essential for seniors to maintain a happy and healthy lifestyle. Becoming part of a regular bingo group provides the opportunity to stay acquainted with friends and to make new ones. Bingo is a safe and fun environment in which people may connect. We have Bingo every Fridays at 1.00pm. |
